PATH

The spiritually IMMATURE are prideful while the MATURE are humble but ALL are to be faithfulmindful and thoughtful.

POINTS

ALL are to be mindful and thoughtful

~Consider the things throughout your day that you are required to “remember” or “know” i.e. schedules, appointments, assignments, passcodes, policies, names, recipes, procedures, etc.

~What happens when you forget or don’t know something that is an integral part of your life or day?

~How much effort do you put into being “mindful” of these sorts of things?

~What kind of systems have you developed to ensure you don’t forget or know what’s required of you?

~What does your level of effort in these areas say about the value you place on these various topics?

~With this in mind, read the following passages and consider the many things God would expect us to be “thoughtful” about…

                                Numbers 15.40; Deuteronomy 8.18-19; 1 Chronicles 16.11-12; Psalm 77.11-12, 143.5;

                                Matthew 24.42; Mark 10.19; Luke 12.56 ; John 4.22, 15.20; Romans 6.3, 6.16, 7.1, 11.2;

                                1Corinthians 5.6, 6.2-3, 6.9, 6.15-16, 6.19, 9.13, 9.24; Ephesians 2.11-12; Hebrews 13.3;

                                James 4.4; Jude 1.17-19

~Apply the same questions from above to the “things of God” just read and discuss the outcome.

~In what ways and how, will you become more “mindful” and “thoughtful” of God and all that He has done, has and is for you?
